The Inaugural Global GNH Forum 2025

The GNH Centre Bhutan successfully hosted the inaugural Global Gross National Happiness Forum from 8–10 November 2025.

This landmark three-day gathering marked a momentous occasion — celebrating fifty years of Bhutan’s GNH philosophy and honouring the 70th birth anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, the architect of Gross National Happiness.

Graced by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Tseyring Pem Wangchuck and Her Royal Highness Princess Ashi Kesang Chodren Wangchuck, the forum opened with auspicious blessing ceremonies and the launch of two publications, The Precious Garland of Incarnations and Economía Humana.

Her Royal Highnesses also launched the Global GNH Forum website — a dedicated platform to inform people around the world in pursuit of happiness and collective wellbeing.

Over three days, leaders, scholars, and changemakers from across continents came together in an atmosphere of reflection, dialogue, and inspiration. The sessions covered transformative themes such as wellbeing economies, regenerative development, climate change, and education.
